Scotland hosts The Open every 2 years on average, doing so next in 2021 for the 150th Open at St Andrews. This year The Open famously moves to Northern Ireland and Royal Portrush for the first time since 1951.

Today, 23rd April 2019 is St George\’s Day, celebrating the patron saint of England and another great Open venue is Royal St Georges in Kent, southern England.  The Royal St.George\’s Golf Club has hosted The Open Championship 14 times since it was founded. The most recent Open was in 2011 when Irishman Darren Clarke lifted The Claret Jug. this great venue hosts The Open again in 2020.
