Royal Dornoch

Golf in Dornoch can be traced back to 1616.

Championship course of the Highlands

It\’s the timeless setting that makes Royal Dornoch such a pleasing place to play golf. It\’s wild, isolated and, at the same time, absolutely beautiful; there\’s the blaze of colour in early summer when the gorse is in flower. The pure white sandy beach divides the links from the Dornoch Firth and it all feels very humbling

Formed in 1877, Royal Dornoch means exceptional standards and we always aim to exceed the expectations of their frequent visitors and loyal members. However, they aim to do this in a relaxed, informal environment, with an emphasis on traditional highland hospitality.

Inverness – Scotland\’s Highland Capital

Where the River Ness meets the Moray Firth. Inverness is the largest city of the Scottish Highlands. The Old Town features 19th-century Inverness Cathedral, the mostly 18th-century Old High Church and an indoor Victorian Market selling food, clothing and crafts.

There is lots to do, plenty of restaurants to choose from and sights to see. Inverness Castle sits atop a view overlooking the River Ness around the town centre.

Nairn Golf Club

Nestling on the shores of the Moray Firth lies one of Scotland\’s finest Golf Courses

Home of the 1999 Walker Cup and 2012 Curtis Cup

Ranked number 11 in the list of Top 100 Courses in Scotland 2015 (Golf World Magazine), this Traditional Scottish Golf Links Course was created from a Highland wilderness of gorse and heather, and tests the talents of professional and amateur alike. Founded in 1887, it is now one of the best courses in Scotland, and has hosted a large number of important championships.

Nairn is a classic, traditional out-and-back links, and the opening half a dozen holes along the coast rival anything at more illustrious Scottish courses
